General Terms and Conditions

The texts, pictures and links transmitted to the Forum Umwelt und Entwicklung, if on request or not, have to be free from rights of third parties. Due to the high amount of pictures and texts, the Forum and its employees cannot individually inspect rights of pictures and copyrights of transmitted material.

On principal, texts and images transmitted to the Forum Umwelt und Entwicklung are deemed to be free of charge, both for the Forum’s print and online publications. Wherever possible, the editorial staff marks images with a note and, as a basic principle, informs the respective press office of the affected organisations and companies about the replica.

The Forum Umwelt und Entwicklung does not assume liability for material (especially texts and images) which was sent to the editorial office. Therefore, the transmitted material has to be free from rights of third parties and may be used costlessly by the Forum Umwelt und Entwicklung for journalistic purposes. Readers’ letters and submitted images/films etc. are printed stating the sender’s name as long as it doesn’t endanger the sender. The editorial department reserves the right of abridgements and diminutions of images for reasons of technology and context.

If readers and users of the Forum’s publications copy or borrow texts or images, this may result in a copyright infringement. Hence, the Forum Umwelt und Entwicklung cannot grant absolute approvals for borrowings in other providers’ publications.
